The truck went through a comprehensive service check last June. All the fluids, a couple of tires, and all the stuff recommended in the SM for the mileage the truck had incurred. Since then we've had two close in trips (<300 mi each) and so we'll keep an eye on that end of it. But there are some mods to the truck I want to get done.
Like before any suggestions - we welcome comments! Those highlighted are completed.
Will probably add some as time goes on.

Bumper mod
Replaced two end bolts on each end of the bumper to increase rigidity
and reduce flex. This was done as
normal exit and entry was causing the end wood screws to back out. Replaced with SS through bolts.

For the head, I'd go with a Dometic Sealand porcelain toilet, they're leaps and bounds nicer than the standard plastic RV toilets and they have a seat far more like a home toilet.
ReplyDeleteFor the regular shower head, since I just realized I mis-read that, an Oxygenics is one of the better ones :).
Hi Big Matt,
DeleteThanks for the "heads" up on the shower head. I've heard that name several times and I think we will put that in our plans.
Thanks again!
