Father's Day 2012

So what I am doing at the moment?  Looking at our past trips and remembering all the goodness that flowed from those days spent in a Jeep with my love criss-crossing the USA.

Father's Day 2012 was especially nice because Tam and I were in Yellowstone, a cool day just right for a long sleeve T-Shirt.  With a spotting scope we watched a Grizzly Bear meander across an open field.  A car load of folks pulled up.  The car had NC plates on too!  Imagine that - all that way!  The kids were excited to see the bear as well when looking through the scope - they didn't stay long and they were off for their next adventure.

We fixed lunch out of the back of the Jeep, a pimento cheese sandwich, fritoes, and cold coke.  It was one of the best days in my life so far!  I am so thankful for my blessings - God's creatures great and small and spotting scopes to see the "great" ones!

Here is the gentleman we watch from afar - no I didn't have to share my sandwich with him either....I would have if required!  Father's Day 2012

Today promises to be a wonderful day - surrounded by family for a fun day at the beach!
